Néstor J. Belgrano

Of Counsel. Néstor Belgrano was a partner at Bomchil for over 30 years. He specializes in banking law, shipping and aircraft finance, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, insurance and telecommunications and is in charge of the Financial Services and Capital Markets department. 

He has represented banks in the acquisition of financial entities in Argentina, as well as in public share offers of stocks and securities in Argentina and the United States. He has also handled the negotiations for syndicated loans and financing projects for the construction of telecommunications networks of various telecommunication firms, and has advised public service providers and electricity producers in the financing of their projects (project finance and structured loans). 

He advises various companies and lenders in financial planning, leasing, security interests and mortgages, exchange and tax regulations, including the negotiation of loans, purchasing and financial leasing to fund the acquisition of aircraft and vessels and to register their security interests. 

He regularly advises clients in corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, technology transfer and technical assistance, insurance, consumer credit, air and space law, shareholders’ agreements, leasing agreements, and reorganization and insolvency proceedings. 

He has been director of various banks and is director and auditor of important companies such as Milkaut, Hutchinson, Endesa, Metalsa, CNP Assurances and Credicoop Seguros de Retiro, among others. 

The clients he regularly provides counseling to include Crédit Agricole, P.S.A. Finance Argentina Compañía Financiera, Peugeot Citroën Argentina, CNP Assurances Brasil Holding, CNP Assurances, Milkaut, Hutchinson Argentina, Chep Argentina, Bloomberg, , The Wine Group, GKN,  and Savencia.
