Mónica L. Rothenberg

Mónica Rothenberg is a former partner in the Arbitration, Litigation and Corporate departments.

Her practice focuses on providing advice on commercial law disputes, in particular on issues of corporate and contractual law, as well as in the handling complex litigation and commercial arbitration.

She has wide experience in commercial law, and has been an advisor in that area since 1991. In 1993, she served in the legal department of the Banco Mercantil of Argentina. From 1994 onwards, she focused on matters of commercial law, principally corporate and insolvency, mainly of foreign companies, in the firm Zaldívar, Manóvil & Asociados, and she has continued to do so at Bomchil since 2003.

She began her career as a Lecturer at Universidad de Buenos Aires Law School in 1989 and in the School of Economics in 1994.

She is currently an assistant lecturer at Universidad de Buenos Aires Law School in the subject Commercial Law. She also collaborates in courses on Civil and Commercial Company Law and Civil and Commercial Contracts.

Between 1994 and 1998 she was an assistant lecturer at the School of Economics in the courses relating to law and economics, and collaborating in courses of the subject Corporate Contracts.

She has participated in various conferences and events and has published articles on international commercial arbitration in specialized local and international journals.
