Julia has wide experience in the judicial area where she held relevant positions for more than thirty years. During her first years in the judiciary, Julia was secretary at a commercial court, legal secretary before the Supreme Court of Justice of Argentina, judge in charge of National Commercial Court of First Instance No. 23 and, finally, judge of the National Commercial Court of Appeals, the country’s most important court of appeals regarding commercial matters. As a judge, she participated in major debt restructuring processes (out-of-court workouts and reorganization proceedings), as well as in proceedings for the payment of debts, corporate litigations, and class actions, among other complex litigious matters.

She is also a professor in undergraduate and graduate degrees at the Law School of Universidad de Buenos Aires, as well as at other renowned Argentine universities.

She has written relevant works on bankruptcy law and several articles on bankruptcy law, corporate law and commercial law in general. She has been actively engaged in seminars and conferences on her area of expertise.
