In this context, the CNV amended its regulations to allow individuals and undivided estates in Argentina who have opted into the Simplified Income Tax Regime (the “Clients”) to allocate funds and/or assets to transactions within the capital markets and with Virtual Asset Service Providers (“VASPs”).

Accordingly, the Resolution authorizes Clients who choose to invest their funds through the capital markets or through VASPs to carry out the following transactions:

(i) cash deposits into bank accounts held by Broker Agents (Agentes de Liquidación y Compensación, the “ALyCs”), by placement agents of Mutual Investment Funds (Fondos Comunes de Inversión, the “FCIs”), and by VASPs;

(ii) transfers of negotiable securities to and from securities sub-accounts held in their name or jointly in their name with placement agents of FCIs or with ALyCs; and

(iii) transfers of virtual assets to and from accounts held in their name or jointly in their name with VASPs.
