Some of its most important provisions include the following:

• The legislation modifies how severance payments are calculated, and it addresses the granting of vacations, sick leave, and the accounting and distribution of overtime, as well as the uneven distribution of working hours.
• It also updates aspects of the labor solidarity regime concerning service contracting, simplifies the labor registration system, and modernizes labor legislation by enabling the issuance of digital documents. 
• It establishes Labor Assistance Funds (FAL), a corporate savings system designed to facilitate the payment of severance packages.  
• It aims to provide predictability to the obligations arising from labor lawsuits by defining a system for updating credits and contemplates the possibility of payment of judgments in installments for small and medium companies.
• A specific regime is created for providers of mobility and delivery technology platforms, exempting them from general labor principles.
• The terms regarding the expiration of Collective Bargaining Agreements are modified.
• Several aspects of union relations and collective disputes are also modified. 
• New regimes are established to promote registered employment. 
• Additionally, the proposal includes repealing special labor regimes for journalists and sales representatives.  

The Chamber of Deputies must now approve the bill to enter into force.
